What is the policy on library books and checkout?
Library books can be checked out for a total of 16 days. All students have the option to checkout two books at any one time. With the exception of kindergarten who are only allowed one book at a time. Parents must register in the library in order to checkout books themselves. Parents have the option to checkout a total of 5 books for 16 days.
Accelerated Reader books are marked by the grade level. This insures your child is reading at their appropriate level. They are marked on the outside by a corresponding color or inside the cover by the grade level. If you need any help locating an Accelerated Reader book that is appropriate for your child please see the librarian or librarian assistant.
* Lost or damaged books must be paid for before a student is allowed to checkout another book.
