Summer Food Service Program
The Summer Food Service Program serves FREE lunch to ALL children and teens age 18 and younger.
The program is set to operate Monday through Thursday, beginning June 20th and ending July 28th. We are also proud to introduce one hot meal consisting of a ‘Corndog on a Stick’ to be served on Wednesdays!
For a complete listing of the summer lunch menu, check out www.levy.nutrislice.com and select Summer Food Service Program.
Walk-ins are welcome from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. to sit in our air conditioned facility and enjoy their lunch at any of the following 5 school sites: Bronson Elementary, Chiefland Elementary, Williston Elementary, Cedar Key School, and Yankeetown School. Removing meals from the premises is prohibited.
Are you operating a facility off-site? The School Board of Levy County Food Service department will be providing daily, at no extra charge, a shelf-stable (no refrigeration needed) snack you may serve in the A.M. or P.M.
For a complete listing of the summer snack menu, check out www.levy.nutrislice.com and select Summer Food Service Program.
If you are a previous off-site facility which operates a program benefitting the children and teens in our community during the summer months, or are interested in adding your off-site facility to our list of recipients, please join us on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2 P.M. in the School Board of Levy County board room, located at 480 Marshburn Drive, Bronson, FL, 32621. Instructions on completing federally required documents and guidance on following federally mandated rules will be provided.
Please address any questions or concerns to the Coordinator of Food Service, Julia Oberst, at (352) 486-5244.
